Gate Automation
We cover all gate automation needs, whether it is an upgrade to an existing system, a brand new system or servicing and maintenance of your gate to ensure it works at its best capability. With gate automation we always make sure the access options suit each customer. This could be a standard dial to open keypad, a video intercom, a vehicle detector that will let a gate open automatically etc. We also cover many types of gates:
Swing Gates
We can install a gate automation system onto either pre-existing gates as long as they reach specification which will be inspected by one of our employees and are strong enough or we can work with the customer and gate fabricator to install a new gate into the property.
Fabricated Steel Gates
All gates are individually fabricated to a size and design specified by the customer. We have shown some of our more standard designs although these can be altered with different railheads, baskets, bar sizes and even colour. Manufactured with a 40mm x 40mm square hollow section (shs) outer frame and 20mm x 20mm shs vertical bars the gate is hot dipped galvanised and powder coated for durability.
Timber Gates
Timber gates have to be extremely well manufactured to withstand the stresses imposed by automation. We have seen some gates made by other joiners fall apart after a few months of operation. Our gates are made with automation in mind and have a minimum finished thickness of 65mm. Available in a variety of woods, redwood, Emery the gate will have a clear basecoat and require further treatment by the customer unless specified.
Sliding Gates
A sliding gate does not need the space a swing gate requires to open. This leaves the full length of the driveway useable for parking vehicles. (useful when space is restricted). A closed sliding gate offers better resistance to being forced than a pair of swing gates and therefore higher security. Sliding gates will work across an upward sloping driveway where a pair of swing gates would not open inward. We provide a range of sliding gate motors for all applications. From single user domestic gates of 150 kilos to continually used industrial ‘sliders’ weighing upto 4000 kilos we have the right motor for the job.
Pedestrian Gates
On top of these gates that we can work with we can also look after pedestrian access gates if you prefer. If you want to make it easier for pedestrians to walk in, instead of waiting for an automated gate to open, either by swinging open or by sliding. A pedestrian entrance means a person can use a keypad to unlock a gate or for them to ring in to the house or directly to the owners phone to be allowed in if needed. You can add other types of security to this entrance too, like a cctv camera to record who is coming in. This can be put on an existing side entrance to boost your security even further or a system can be worked with our workers to best suit you.
